Our hands-on introductory courses are perfect for new users or those requiring an Aspire refresher. Using your own data, you’ll discover how Aspire’s evaluation, target setting and Student Explorer dashboards can help your school to improve.

Our Advanced courses allow users to explore Aspire in greater depth, embed their existing knowledge and apply ‘best practice’ techniques in school. The advanced course also looks more widely at the impact of accountability and Ofsted changes as well as the latest FFT research.

FFT regularly holds conference and roadshow events for schools. These full and half day events are based around the practical use of education data with a particular focus on school improvement, accountability, inspection and research.

Meet our training experts


Stephen Turp: Principal Education Adviser

Stephen works closely with Local Authorities, sharing good practice and advising how FFT Aspire can support local authorities in their role as Champions for Children and Young People.

Heidi Leung: Senior Education Adviser

Heidi currently works supporting Local Authorities, academy chains and schools in the best use of estimate and assessment data. She has a wealth of educational data and management experience gained across a number of organisations.

Gareth Moore: Senior Education Adviser

Gareth has extensive experience of effectively using performance data with senior leaders to help drive school improvement. As Wales Programme Manager, he provides advice and guidance to users of FFT data across Wales.


Andrew Hill: Head of School Services

A senior manager at FFT Education, Andrew is responsible for sales, marketing and subscriptions. He has an outstanding reputation as a leading adviser on school performance and professional development.

Tina Kundi: Education Adviser

As a recent senior leader in charge of assessment and reporting, Tina has extensive practical experience of using FFT data to support teaching & learning with a focus on school improvement.

Gary Limb: Education Adviser

Gary provides training and support to schools, academy chains and LAs to enable them to use assessment data both strategically and in the classroom. He has a wide range of education experience as a teacher and from working in a Local Authority.
