Access the Unlocking Reading CPD portal
Unlocking Reading is a free, DfE-funded CPD programme to support struggling readers in secondary schools. If you haven't been able to attend the in-person training, follow the steps below to log into the online portal and access the training modules.
Already know how to log in? Head straight to the portal. If you need a hand, the steps below will guide you through.
How to log in
Step 1
Enter your email address
When you reach the portal, start by entering your email address.
Step 2
Enter your school or organisation
There are two ways to do this, depending on your setting:
- Schools in England and Wales - use the search box to find your school by name, postcode or URN.
- All other organisations - simply type your organisation name in the free-text box provided.
Step 3
You're in
You'll be taken to a profile to complete some further information and once confirmed you'll be taken straight into the Unlocking Reading portal where all ten CPD modules and resources will be available. Keep an eye out for the live training available.
