2020 FFT Results Service (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
This year, the DfE will not run any national assessments or collect teacher assessments for primary schools. However, from our discussions with school leaders, schools have said that they would still welcome a full analysis of 2020 results in Aspire for internal use only (not for external accountability or performance management).
We are pleased to announce, therefore, that FFT will be running a 2020 Results Service in FFT Aspire.
In June, the 10,000 primary schools using FFT Aspire will be able to submit teacher assessments for pupils in Reception (EYFS), Year 2 (KS1) and Year 6 (KS2). These will be teachers’ best judgements of where pupils would have got to if they had completed national assessments this year.
In July and August, schools will then have access to all of the usual interactive dashboards and reports in Aspire with an analysis of your 2020 attainment and value-added progress for KS1 and KS2 (based on teacher assessments) along with a special EYFS PDF analysis.
FFT estimates for Y1 and Y3 pupils (September 2020)
In September, you’ll be able to access FFT estimates of future performance as normal for your new pupils in Year 1 and Year 3.
Aspire Pupil Tracking (free trial extended)
We understand that during this difficult period, schools may not have had time to make full use of the new Assessment Tracker or Curriculum Tracker in FFT Aspire.
We are pleased to announce, therefore, that the free trial period for Pupil Tracking will be extended until the 31st August 2020 for all schools using FFT Aspire.
Schools that have already purchased a tracking subscription will receive an additional 5 months’ free subscription for Pupil Tracking which will be added to your current Aspire subscription.
With all FFT staff now working from home, you can contact our customer support team at any time by email (email@example.com) or by telephone from 9.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, on 01446 776262.
Please do contact us if you need any help using FFT Aspire or have questions about your assessment and pupil data. During this period, we can schedule free online training sessions with schools and teachers to help you with FFT Aspire. Please just get in touch to arrange a time that works for you.
A big thank you!
Lastly, on behalf of everyone at FFT, a huge thank you to all school leaders, teachers and support staff for everything you are doing at the moment to help the national effort to manage coronavirus, particularly by keeping schools open to look after the children of key workers. We have seen first-hand the incredible commitment and dedication of staff in supporting all our children and young people, but particularly those who are most vulnerable.
